Deep Tissue Massage
Our main focus of Deep Tissue Massage is to work on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

We use a combination of deep tissue and deep myofascial release to warm the muscles before we apply specialized Assisted tools or Cupping techniques.

Some of the benefits of Deep Tissue Therapy is that it reduces Chronic Pain.  Because deep-tissue massage increases the flow of blood through through the body, it helps reduce the inflammation that causes pain.

Deep-tissue massage can be an effective treatment for injured muscles. Because it facilitates the movement of toxins from the muscles and helps stretch tight or twisted muscle mass, deep-tissue massage can help promote healing. Because massage also helps relax muscles, it can reduce the pain caused by injuries, too. Deep-tissue massage is frequently used to rehabilitate sports injuries.

People who had a deep-tissue massage saw their systolic pressure drop by an average of 10.4 mm Hg and their diastolic pressure drop an average 5.3 mm Hg, according to a study cited by the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Myofascial Release
Trigger Point Therapy
This alternative medicine therapy aims to relax contracted muscles, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles. It is done very slowly and can be extremely relaxing. This technique can be done with other techniques or as an idividual treatment especially for Fibromyalgia Clients.
Most trigger points are found in the muscle belly and can be tender to the touch. We hold the trigger point until we feel a release in the muscle holding pattern. We also utilize Dolphin Nuerostim for trigger point stimulation or sedation.
Myofascial release is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain.
Trigger point therapy is a technique in which trigger points are located and manipulated to reduce the pain and "deactivate" the point..
Sports Massage
We help to keep you in Optimum Shape!

Sports massage is a form of bodywork used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.
Sports massage is a generic term for three different types of massage associated with athletic performance. Each type of massage has its own benefits and uses different techniques.
Pre-event sports massage is done to help prevent serious athletic injury. It helps to warm up the muscles, stretching them and making them flexible for optimal athletic performance. A pre-event massage stimulates the flow of blood and nutrients to the muscles, reduces muscle tension, loosens the muscles, and produces a feeling of psychological readiness.
Whenever athletes exercise heavily, their muscles suffer microtraumas. Small amounts of swelling occur in the muscle because of tiny tears. Post-event sports massage helps reduce the swelling caused by microtraumas; loosens tired, stiff muscles; helps maintain flexibility; promotes blood flow to the muscle to remove lactic acid and waste build-up; and reduces cramping. In addition, post-event massage helps speed the athlete's recovery time and alleviates pulls, strains, and soreness.
Maintenance sports massage is done at least once a month as a regular part of athletic training programs. Maintenance massage increases the flow of blood and nutrients to the muscles. It also keeps the tissues loose so that different layers of muscle slide easily over each other. Maintenance sports massage also helps reduce the development of scar tissue while increasing flexibility and range of motion.
The goal of all sports massage is to maximize athletic performance.

By creating suction and vacuum pressure, ACE Massage Cupping™ is used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, move deep inflammation to the skin surface for release, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.
Cupping is one of the best deep-tissue therapies available. It is thought to affect tissues up to four inches deep from the external skin. Toxins can be released, blockages can be cleared, and veins and arteries can be refreshed within these four inches of affected materials.
The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure).
Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite. For weight loss and cellulite treatments, oil is first applied to the skin, and then the cups are moved up and down the surrounding area.

Medi Cupping
Manual Cupping
Machine Assisted Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which we put special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction.

“Where there’s stagnation, there will be pain. Remove the stagnation, and you remove the pain.”

Sometimes, we use the manual cups which we can leave on an area longer if the need be.
IASTM  Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation

IASTM stands for Instrument Aided Soft Tissue Manipulation, and may also be called ASTYM or Graston.
The treatment edge of the IASTM instruments allows for improved precision in the treatment of fascial restriction and fibrotic/scar tissue., thereby creating tissue mobility.
IASTM is a manual therapy approach to musculoskeletal injuries using specifically designed tools. The most effective material for IASTM is stainless steel, which Smart Tools are comprised.
Smart Tools were developed to assist in effective treatment of adhesions and scarring brought on by surgeries, injuries, and overuse of muscles.
We have been certified and trained to use Smart Tools in our practice and have found many ways to help our clients and help their bodies heal while breaking down scar tissue/adhesions in the troubled area, and accelerate the recovery process.
Biofeedback Energy Balancing
Quantum Biofeedback Sessions are widely recognized as a beneficial and effective treatment choice for stress and pain reduction.
It uses a non-invasive, sophisticated technology based on bioenergetics and quantum physics that energetically scans your body from head to toe measuring your subtle energies against a healthy matrix of over 9,000 frequencies of health and wellness.

Within minutes, it provides a comprehensive analysis of your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual stressors and energetic imbalances that are within the energy meridians.

This SCIO Quantum Biofeedback model is a universal
electrophysiological biofeedback system and is based on 20 years of history, research and experience throughout the world.

It coordinates a complex electro-modal, biofeedback program with computer software in order to gather bio-energetic information of a client’s subconscious energy. This information is selected and listed by the SCIO in order of the highest reaction and the stressors are analyzed in the course of a stress management session.

Quantum biofeedback is an energy bodywork therapy method used to detect and then correct biological imbalances in the body. Quantum biofeedback is non-invasive and uses a machine designed to scan the body's electrical output. It is base on the acupuncture Meridians in the body that are made up of chi.
Dolphin Neurostim MPS Therapy

Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Therapy is the world’s first integrative therapy developed exclusively to sympathetically DE-Regulate the ANS and fight chronic pain.

The theoretical underpinnings of MPS Therapy are based on combining the “therapeutic pearls” of acupuncture, osteopathy, integrative dentistry, neural therapy with modern neurology and microcurrent.

The MPS device locates and applies concentrated DC microcurrent to therapeutically active points (acupuncture & trigger) for the purpose of relaxing muscles, calming the nervous system and releasing endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. The device is engineered to detect and treat these active points with great scientific precision & potency, providing stimulation of all three systems at once — nervous, muscular and endocrine.

The treatments that we use are generally for:
Arthritis, Back pain, Sciatica, Bursitis, Knee pain, Hip pain, Tendonitis, Fibromyalgia, TMJ, Inflamed joints, Carpal tunnel, Sports injuries, Frozen shoulder, Menstrual cramps, Scars & Adhesions, general stress reduction and relaxation And much more.

We often access the acupuncture points with the neurostim to help with chronic pain issues.
Kinesiology tape offers structural or muscle support; it can correct postural problems and increase blood flow and lymphatic drainage.
When the tape is applied correctly, it achieves the last of these effects by lifting the skin to create a small space between the muscle and dermis layers.
That space takes the pressure off swelling or injured muscles, allows smooth muscle movement and makes space for drainage and blood flow.

Some of the benefits of Rock Tape are for:

Achilles tendonitis, Plantar fasciitis, Jumpers knee (PFS), ACL/MCL issues, Rotator cuff, Groin and hamstring pulls, Lower back issues, Shin splints, Tennis and golf elbow, Pain associated with pregnancy, Postural correction
Skin & abrasion protection.
